Each year, I update my wardrobe and clean-up my closet. Due to excessive and impulsive purchases, I decided to put up an online store to sell off some items that were honestly hardly worn. The other stuff, I handed down to my cousins and nieces in the province.
Sadly, only three of them benefited from my clothes, apart from Ally and my SIL, whom I gave out the bigger clothes that I had when I gained weight for a time. Most of my relatives were medium or large sized. LOL!
Take a peak at the clothes that were handed down to the lucky recipients:
My nieces were grinning from ear to ear when I finally gave out these clothing to them. They don’t need to buy new stuff for the entire year. LOL!
I have always wanted to see myself wearing skinny jeans. I envy women who looks so sexy and fashionable. They certainly looked like fashion models and celebrities! I have always been on the look out for a skinny jeans that would fit my body structure. I feel a little uncomfy with some of the styles. They are just too fit for my liking. It gets really frustrating! Out of desperation, I decided to search on some of the tips in choosing the best skinny jeans for me.
Here they are:
The most slimming look comes from skinny jeans in a dark blue or black wash.
You don’t have to go with skin-tight jeans to get the look of the trend: jeans vary from super-skinny (usually about a 10″ leg opening) to a kinder, straight-leg cut (about 14″ leg opening).
One of the key elements for pulling off skinny jeans is to balance it with volume on top including dolman-sleeve tops, bell-sleeve tops or tunics.
Disguise heavy thighs by wearing a longer, belted tunic over skinny jeans.
Cover up thick calves by tucking skinny jeans into tall boots.
Wear heels with skinny jeans for a leg-lengthening look; pointy-toed flats also work.
A colleague of mine makes nice accessories. I actually bought some of her nice bracelets and earrings. It’s a hobby that for her “has eventually evolved into a craft, not a crap”, according to my friend. 😀
I haven’t seen those accessories she made that looked like “crap” though. But I really love the ones she made recently. They look like pandora charms but she said she still have a lot of learning to do make her accessories look even better. I’ve been telling her to sell some of them online but she said she didn’t have the time to do it anymore. Instead, she sell her charms to her friends.
I’m thinking about learning how to create the accessories myself. I wanted to have a new hobby especially when I’m back in the province. It’s not a bad idea, is it?
Lainy loves accessories. As I was browsing through her pictures in Facebook, I realize she loves wearing hats outdoor! Not only does those hat protect her from the harsh sun but they make her ever more prettier especially since the hats match her outfit and personality! I won’t be surprised if she also have one of those OR hats in her closet which is already filled with clothes and accessories!
The last picture is my favorite! What do y’all think? 😀
I have been boasting before about the intimate apparels I had acquired at eBay. I can’t help but flaunt them off . I am sure I would still do the same even if it’s plus size intimate apparel.
I can imagine myself with a bulging tummy and getting so fat, ekkkkk! I will be disfigured when the time comes but I believe that’s fine. There could be no better time for a woman than to conceive another life in her tummy. I know my time will come soon and it won’t be too far from happening now.
Like it has been said, color has an impact on the choices we make. Our reaction to the colors that we see is instantaneous.
During my brother’s wedding, the bride wanted purple as the motif. She said it’s her fave color. We suggested she has to pick another color to match it. She couldn’t give any. While we were looking out for her gown and that of the entourage, it was only then have we decided that it’s gonna be purple and apple green accentuated with black and grey. Where have you found a wedding with four motifs? LOL!
Yours truly chose black as the color of my dress (black is actually NOT a color, hehe). I wanted to be different from the rest of the entourage. The Maid of Honor wore a purple gown and the bridesmaids wore apple green. I sported a black cocktail dress with white gold as accessories.
Most of the guests muttered, “Why black?”
In the Philippines, black symbolizes death. It’s kind of bizarre. Choosing it as one of the motifs in my brother’s wedding was actually a defiance of the cultural norms. In other countries however, it symbolizes elegance and sophistication.
I was oozing with confidence wearing the black outfit because it made me appear thinner. It was able to conceal the bulges in my tummy, LOL! I wasn’t alone who chose black amongst the four motifs though 😉
So what do you think? Will you prefer black as motif of your own wedding?
