How to Choose the Perfect Wedding Band For Your Bride-To-Be

Your bride will remember her wedding day vividly for the rest of her life. Perhaps the most symbolic treasure and daily reminder of that special day will be the delicate wedding band you slip onto her finger on that monumental occasion. It is a true representation of both her individual style and your special union. Choosing the perfect band for your special lady will require some thought and planning, but it does not have to be a painstakingly-difficult process.

Important Facts to Consider

There are a few very important facts to consider while shopping. Aside from knowing your special lady’s ring size, you will need to know if she prefers white, yellow or rose metals. Is she looking for a custom setting for placement of a special diamond or birthstone? Does she want to coordinate her band with the design you choose? Is she interested in a two-tone look? Does she like ornate filigree designs and inlay work, or does she appreciate the simplicity of a polished plain band? Will she want her band inscribed with a special poem, anniversary date or quote that represents your love? Does she need a silk-fit band with scratch-resistant technology to accommodate her busy lifestyle or job?

Mengmei Trade Co., found at http://www.ifashionjewelryshop.com, offers a wide range of unique rings for women. In addition to a huge range of ring styles and sizes, they also have an extensive array of love bracelets and necklaces for couples that will make perfect anniversary gifts going forward.

5 Romantic Holiday Destinations

money ozEveryone dreams of a romantic holiday; one where they can fall in love (again), relax and feast on champagne and chocolate coated strawberries while indulging in guilt-free PDA’s with their significant other. The most important part of creating an unforgettable vacation is getting the destination right and although there is a plethora of wondrous places around the world, there are a few that are a cut above the rest in the romance department. If you’re stuck for ideas, try one of these.

Hunter Valley, Australia

More commonly known as Wine Country, The Hunter Valley boasts some of the finest wineries and restaurants in the region. Hoping to get a taste of the good life? Hunter Valley is the tonic to cleanse your mind, body and soul. Whether you are being pampered at one of the many day spas, sloshing your feet in a barrel of grapes, or experiencing a candlelit dinner overlooking the lush greenery, this scenic destination will always give you a warm country welcome. Only a two hour drive from the iconic Sydney, the Hunter Valley is perfect for the romantic long weekend.

Amalfi Coast, Italy

The Amalfi Coast: the inspiring destination that artists, writers and musicians alike have put pen (or paintbrush) to paper over. It’s little wonder why; the vibrant village boasts magnificent cliff faces jutting in all directions while the inland offers the ideal mix of nature and history. During the summer months, the streets are lined with enlightening festivals while notes of lemon and olive groves linger in the air. While it has that old traditional feel, the Amalfi Coast has no shortage of luxury resorts and Michelin star restaurants.

Oracabessa, Jamaica

Situated in the small town of St Mary, Oracabessa is Jamaica’s best kept secret. With its stunning natural beauty and inspiration for the world’s finest artist, it’s surprising that very few people know about this gem. There are only a small selection of hotels to stay at in Oracabessa with the likelihood of it staying that way forever, meaning that visitors to that location will rest assured knowing that it will never be overrun by tourists. Your daily activity options: kayak or lounge on the beach and then slowly make your way to the bar for jazz and reggae influenced music before feasting on local seafood. Finish the night with a bonfire before making your way back to one of the luxurious hotel with your loved one.

Liore Valley, France

While Paris will always have a place in our romantic hearts, the true beauty lies in the Liore Valley, otherwise known as the Garden of France. Enter into a fairy-tale realm where postcard worthy castles and storybook villages rule. With an enchanting array of vineyards, blossoming gardens and rolling green mounds, there is a magical discovery around every corner in the Loire Valley.

Now you know where to go, it’s time to start planning! While there’s fun to be had everywhere on a trip, the main question to be posed is: how are you going to pay for it? The easiest way is with your own money (nobody likes to have a maxed out credit card before the trip is over), check out Travel Money Oz by heading to this URL for some information on the best ways to spend your own money overseas. Happy travels!

Wardrobe Check #4: Ate Juliana’s Birthday Gifts

Because it is Ate Juliana’s birthday, what could be more fitting than showing off the birthday gifts she sent my way for my birthday last year.

I never ask anything material from my friends. Their sincere friendship is more than enough gift for me.

However, when friends give out something and they do it with special thoughts the same way Ate Juliana did, I could only be grateful!

She has carefully chosen all these gifts; making sure that the size perfectly fits. She did an excellent job! :-) I felt truly special sporting these presents because it was given by a special friend :-) I feel so blessed for having a gem of a pal like her!

Grandson vs. Granny

Ok. My brothers who are the pillars of Kueras Band over at Kuerdas.com owns a superior drummer 2.0. They mainly use it for practice and not for their actual performances.

I believe its life is numbered. It is normally my darling nephew Morning Dew who plays with it now. I am not sure if it still works well to serve its purpose but the last time I have seen it was when my nephew and my own Mom was competing and were trying to outdo each other. LOL!

Wardrobe Check #3

For the past few weeks, our weekends were mostly filled with hunting for a new bed and some other bed/ bedroom accessories. In between that and a couple of other errands, my personal photographer that is my Prince never failed to document what I managed to pull out of my wardrobe cabinet.

“Oh! Em! Gee!”

There were close to 100!

Unbelievable!!!

He was tireless in pressing the shutter! He was practically everywhere!

I felt somehow guilty because there was at some point I felt unhappy when a couple of shots were against the light and I was telling him he could have done a lot better.

And I pulled the trigger at him- complaining this and that! LOL!

At times, he would motion and give instructions on where I should strike a pose while he gets the camera ready but I felt embarrassed because there were too many people. Hahaha! We weren’t in the car park, My Prince! How uncool! LOL!

Anyhow, I felt like wearing a Shilla summer skirt and an old favorite white top from the Philippines which I brought in Sydney with me paired with my tattered PrimaDonna footwear. The pearl bangles was a gift from a dear pal (Thanks Aking!).
