>The Saree is the pride of the Indian women’s clothing in Malaysia. Before I continue describing about it, this clothing measures a length of 6 yards of unstitched cloth. There are Sarees that are as long as 9 yards. Can you figure out how much cloth that is to be worn around the woman’s body?
It looks gracious and regal. I understand that one has to be skilled in how to wear a Saree as all 6 yards is draped around the body and adjusted with little tucks and pulls.
One end of the cloth is tied around the waist while the other end called “pallu” neatly draped over the shoulder. And there are variations on how the “pallu” is arranged. I believe it takes quite a bit till the Saree is worn just right.
The Saree, the Cheongsam and the Kebayas were such a sight while I vacationed in Malaysia.

>These are so beautiful, romantic and feminine and show off a ladies posture, poise and grace like no other. Perhaps we should all wear something like this once in a while to remind us of how wonderful we can become.
>Apologies – I am writing this with eyes half open or should I say eyes half shut …. should have written ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ and show off a lady's posture, poise and grace:(
